What About Fees?
The Peninsula Pastoral Counseling Center is supported primarily by fees received from our clients. While we do have a standard fee for services, we also offer subsidized fees to clients unable to pay this fee.

Incorporated as a non-profit organization, the Center receives contributions from denominations, churches, and individuals to make such a ministry possible.

Fees are established by the counselor and the client in the first session and are payable at the session.  On the staff are counselors who are providers for Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Compsych, First Health, Holman Group, Kinnamon, Magellan, Mid-Atlantic, Mutual Prefer, Sentara/Optima, TriCare, United Behavioral Health, Value Options, and/or Virginia HealthNet.  In addition, some staff are in Ceridian and/or in other employee assistance plans (EAP's).  Coverage is determined at the beginning of counseling.
